Famous Contributors to Geomorphology

The purpose of this homework is to give you a broad overview of some of the major historical figures whose research led to the development of modern geomorphology. To complete this assignment you will need to research a key figure in the development of the field of geomorphology, and give a short 5 minute presentation to the class including the following items (at a minimum):

1.You should include at least one photo/image of your geomorphologist.

2.Biographical data such as dates lived, where born, where educated, main profession, etc.

3. Key contributions of this person to the field of geomorphology.

4.You must use some type of presentation software such as: Powerpoint, Keynote, Prezi, Google Slides, etc.

5.Have a reference slide that lists the sources of information for your presentation.
