Using the readings for the week and the South University Online Library, write a 2-page paper.

Cover the following:

  • Identify a quality, safety, or performance improvement issue to examine in your final project.
  • Explain the selected issue by applying the six standards of quality healthcare measurement and achievement as set by the Institute of Medicine (IOM). Describe how each of the six standards applies to the selected issue.
