Mitigation Strategies Solutions: Final Project
The purpose of this assignment is for you to formulate a mitigation plan for a specific environmental problem of your choice. This assignment is a final project that also serves to culminate all of your learning in the entire course.

Choose from one of the following environmental topics that could be an issue in your area:
- Agricultural/Rangeland Management
- Atmospheric Pollution
- Endangered Species Recovery
- Energy Development and Management
- Forest Conservation and Preservation
- Habitat Restoration
- Invasive Species Control
- Oceanic Pollution
- Oceanic Resources
- Sustainable Urban Planning
- Wildlife Population Management
Select a specific environmental problem within your selected topic. Your topic, for example, could be Atmospheric Pollution, and your environmental problem could be global warming.
Write a 1,050- to 1,150-word paper with supporting visuals in which you formulate a mitigation plan for your specific environmental problem.
Include the following in the paper:
- A detailed description of the problem
- The nonliving and living factors that contribute to, or are affected by, the problem
- The ways in which humans positively or negatively impact the problem
- An evaluation of current sustainability strategies and solutions
- Using Sustainability Plan Guidelines as a guide, prepare a table outlining your management and sustainment plan to mitigate the problem identified
- The benefits and challenges of your plan
- Any government, societal, and global support needed in order to implement your plan
Format your plan, including the supporting visuals, according to appropriate course-level APA guidelines.
