You are a member of a response team organized to manage one of the HC emergencies. Your Faculty is the Incident Commander that has the following responsibilities highlighted in BOLD during this class:
Mobilizes needed resources including members of the Emergency Response Team.
Coordinates internal response activities with First Responders, both public and private.

My Job Role is Finance and Administration Chief
Responsibilities:
An emergency may trigger an urgent need to purchase materials or spend money in other ways such as arranging for a temporary workspace or rental equipment. The Finance and Administration Control Chief is the person responsible of initiating and supervising these actions. This position reports to the Incident Commander.
Assignment # 1 –
Develop a Memo addressed to the Incident Commander with regard to the predisposing factors affecting the HC services delivery situation at that time. This submission does not require the citations or references. The goal is to demonstrate your critical thinking in the assessment, evaluation, and solution of a managerial issue.

*List minimum 2 issues that contributed to the situation from the perspective of your job role. For example, if your role is the administrative chief (supply chain management) one of the issues might be the absence of the sharp disposal containers due to flood in the warehouse where they are stored off-site. *Recommend a realistic solution to this problem. For example, recommend using thick plastic water containers labeled with permanent markers as a temporary solution. Recommend the restricted storage zone for the collection of full containers.
*List the workforce and stakeholders necessary to achieve the results. For example, the food supplier/manager needs to be contacted about the empty water containers. The custodial chief (possible National Guard equivalent) needs to be contacted about the storage locations and restrictions enforcement.
Assignment #2
Develop a Memo directed to the Incident Commander informing the population status assessment at the time (day of the disaster, 3 days after the disaster, etc.-faculty choice)and the identifiers of the needs. Provide the sources this information was pulled. This is not your job role related assignment, but rather a general topic important for all the managers to understand.
*List vital statistics if the involved population (read about the vital statistics at www.med.mcgill.ca/epidemiology/hanley/c609/material/VitalStatisticsEoB.pdf (I am not sure we will be able to use this source)). Chose minimum 2 vital statistics markers and explain their significance in this emergency situation.
