|ASSIGNMENT 6: Proposal Letter|
As we’ve already seen, Technical Writing encompasses a variety of documents produced for diverse purposes and audiences. With Assignment 6 we turn our attention to yet another type of document: the formal letter.
Technical Writing emphasizes both form and content, and that is certainly true for the proposal letter you will write.
Before starting your letter, read the assignment details on page 24 of your textbook. Write your letter to a Tech administrator or the head of your major department (EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT) and adhere to the FOUR-PARAGRAPH STRUCTURE outlined in the middle of the page.
SHOULD BE FOLLOW THE FORMAT AS THE ATTACHMENT (THE SAME AS THE EXAMPLE AND THE BLOCK FORMAT.) IT DOES NOT NEED COVER PAGE.
BE SURE TO READ THE GRADING RUBRIC TO GET A HIGH SCORE!!!
Please use block format, which is modeled on page 167, NOT modified block format for your letter and remember that your letter cannot exceed 1 page.
