There are many examples in modern marketing of the phrase “your strategy is showing.” Pick a product or service that you have seen advertised or marketed recently and try to imagine their strategy. What do you think the marketing people were saying? What was the strategy and was it really obvious?

Photos and videos would be used for products you see in person and screenshots/screencasts would be good for products you see on your computer, phone, tablet, etc. Basically, the bottom line for this assignment is there should be visuals of the product/advertisement/marketing throughout your paper that supports and exemplifies your ideas.

What is a screenshot? – Good question! A screenshot is an image taken by the user to record the visible items displayed on the computer monitor or screen of the device.
What is a screencast? – Another great question. A screencast is just like a screenshot, but it is a video instead of an image.
