To understand a sentence means to know what would make it true and what would make it false.

Present some argument back and forth about this claim, focusing on Austin’s contribution to the debate in How to Do Things With Words, and being sure to consider concrete examples of sentences.

Requirements:

MLA format 3 pages double spaced.

I will attach the reading by Austin and 3 handouts which may help with writing the paper.
