Please pick ONE of the following assignment choices:

  1. In class, we talked about some historic ethnic relationships in the United States.This is the year 2018, how have things changed, and/or how have they remained the same? Please write a paper giving me your thoughts about the relationships between any two ethnicities of your choosing, or you can give me an overall picture (2-3 pages).
  2. Please compile a photo journal of your neighborhood or the greater Los Angeles area detailing evidence of ethnic diversity (i.e. store front signs in different languages, restaurants, businesses, parks…). You need to show me at least 4 examples. For each image, make sure to include a short narrative along with the names and locations of the places. Give your journal a title, an introduction and a conclusion. Save your work in either a Word document or PDF file and submit to the link provided.
