For this assignment, you will write a two to three page paper addressing the following:

Over the course of history, key events have helped to shape the hospital system in the United States. Evaluate the impact of the following—the development of the modern health insurance industry, Medicare and Medicaid, on the development of the hospital system. How might our hospital system be different today had history been different? What influence have recent healthcare reform efforts (Affordable Care Act) had on the current U.S. healthcare system?

Your paper should meet the following requirements:
